Services and work begin in the preconstruction phase that would include various stages. A representative of Roche Incorporated attends design team meetings, reviewing and costing all options and plans. In addition, Roche Incorporated typically provides the following services:
- Review of project scheduling and phasing
- Establishment of a design development estimate
- Review of design development drawings including meetings with design team and development of alternatives as required for materials, systems, etc. to meet established project budget
- Analyze trade comments and design suggestions
- Provide value engineering comments
- Development of guaranteed maximum price based on construction documents
- Establish utility company requirements
- Assist in obtaining approvals from Planning and Zoning, Fire Marshal and Building Department
